Overview
Cutting and laying sugarcane
The TAGRM 4GP-1 is a single-row self-propelled crawler sugarcane harvester. It cuts, conveys and lays the cane, combining a crawler travelling system with a single-disc cutting device.
Drive and crop handling
An 18.8 kW single-cylinder diesel engine powers the machine. Travel transmission is mechanical; the cutter, chain clamping device, cane dividing device and cane lifting device use hydraulic transmission. These systems guide the standing cane through cutting and laying.
Field selection
Provide the plantation row layout, cane condition, terrain and available turning space when planning harvesting. Choose the operating setup for the actual crop and ground conditions, and inspect the cutting and conveying components as part of routine preparation.
