Tractor-Pulled Compost Turners

A tractor-pulled compost turner must be selected together with its tractor. TAGRM MT3000 and MT5000 are separate equipment configurations; matching a tractor power figure alone does not complete the compatibility check.

Equipment selection guide

Equipment and tasks

The model descriptions identify a drive shaft for the drum and a lifting arrangement. Tractor power and hydraulic requirements must be read from the particular model. These requirements describe the supporting tractor, not an engine installed on the towed turner.

Selection inputs

Provide the tractor make and model, available power and details of its hydraulic and drive interfaces. Check the connection arrangement, drive-shaft compatibility and guarding before specifying the equipment. Do not assume the interfaces required by MT3000 and MT5000 are identical.

Site and operating conditions

Review the combined tractor-and-turner movement envelope: windrow size, spacing, headlands and turning route. Add the material description and operating schedule. The layout must suit the whole combination, not just the dimensions of the turner considered in isolation.

Configuration boundaries

A published processing figure is not a guarantee under a different feedstock or work cycle. Optional equipment is considered separately from standard supply. Where tractor details are incomplete, treat compatibility as an enquiry item rather than assuming a fit.
