Overview
Two-row seed and fertilizer placement
The TAGRM 2BFY-2R combines precision corn or soybean seeding with fertilizer placement. Its two-row configuration uses separate crop-appropriate metering devices: a picker-finger seed drill for corn and a scoop planter for soybeans. A fluted-wheel device meters fertilizer.
Adjustment and ground following
Row spacing adjusts from 400 to 900 mm. The parallelogram planting units follow the ground to maintain drilling depth, while the ground-driving wheel and chain transmission operate the metering system. Seed plates and transmission settings are selected for the crop and required spacing.
Tractor and field selection
The matched tractor power range is 18–73 kW. Referenced working speed is 5–9 km/h and field productivity is 0.4–1.6 ha/h. Compare the tractor linkage, soil preparation, crop and field conditions before selecting the planting setup. Planting depth is 30–60 mm and fertilizer depth is 50–80 mm.
