Product Description
Overview
Cassava peeling and washing
The TAGRM PC180 uses a brush-type chamber to clean and peel cassava roots. Its eight brushes and 1,800 mm brush length combine surface friction and washing action for root preparation before subsequent processing.
Processing setup
The drive is rated at 2.2 kW. Root size, shape, soil adhesion, feed rate and the desired peeling degree affect the processing result. Maintain the brush assembly and plan the water and drainage arrangements for the installation.
Line integration
Provide the root characteristics, required throughput, available utilities and upstream and downstream equipment. Feed and discharge heights, plant layout and the target product condition are relevant when arranging the peeling stage within a processing line.
